Our informative monthly newsletter includes articles of interest and highlights the events and activities for the month. As a member of MAMC, your dues go towards the printing and mailing costs of the newsletter.

 

Mom's Night Out is an evening to relax and socialize that is set aside just for the mothers. Past events have included dinner, movies, crafts, games nights and breakfasts. Recently we have added a monthly luncheon.

 

Throughout the year, we have special events designed to get our whole membership together, to introduce you to other members and provide familiar faces for future events. Our annual Members' Dinner is a favorite.

 

Child-centered holiday parties are celebrated throughout the year. These parties are open to both members and non-members. Our annual Halloween party draws a large crowd.

 

Get to know other parents and their kids through Co-op playgroups, then trade baby-sitting hours so that you can get a haircut or go to an appointment by yourself without paying a sitter.

 

Recognizing the importance of civic and charitable work, we donate a portion of our proceeds during the year to organizations in the community and encourage our members to volunteer their time periodically through club-organized charitable activities.

 

New members can expect a call or note from one of our "buddies" inviting them to attend different monthly events. A list of the names and numbers of current members is provided to new members to help them get to know others in the group.
